About this Position
What you´ll do
- Design and develop a concept for Large Language Models (LLMs)-generated reports based on patent data tailored to diverse business functions, such as R&D, sales and marketing
- Evaluate and benchmark various large language models to identify the best fit for specific use cases
- Apply and refine prompt engineering techniques to enhance output quality, relevance and reliability
- Create a best practices guide to support internal teams in leveraging LLMs effectively and responsibly
What makes you a good fit
- Student who has successfully passed the first semesters in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, data science, artificial intelligence or a STEM field
- Initial exposure to Intellectual Property (IP) topics, particularly patents, is a plus
- Fluent English language skills, German language is a plus but not mandatory
- Solid understanding of AI and machine learning, particularly LLMs (e.g., familiarity with tools like ChatGPT and similar LLMs)
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy and technical relevance
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to summarize technical information clearly and concisely
- Availability as of February 2026

We offer you an attractive salary between € 1050-2095. The exact amount of the remuneration depends on the desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) and existing degrees.
