What you´ll do

  • The Packaging Technician is assigned to a packaging line to work as part of a three or four-person team.
  • Operates machines and production equipment safely in accordance with instructions
  • Sets up or adjusts equipment according to manufacturing specifications
  • Ensure that all equipment operates smoothly and meets quality control standards to deliver high-quality products
  • Monitors the quality of output to identify or discard re-manufacture faulty products
  • Maintains accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed.
  • Willing to work weekend overtime shifts.
  • Participate in HPS activities.
  • DMS-Daily Management System: CILT, CL, DH o CILT-Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication, Tightening o CL-Centerlining o DH-Defect Handling
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment

What makes you a good fit

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Willingness to flex schedule in order to meet business needs, including extended shifts, weekends and holidays, if necessary, as well as moving to other shifts to balance skills, results, vacation coverage and training opportunities
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a computer, including Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Demonstrated problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills; ability to resolve issues independently and understand when additional support is needed
  • Acts as a role model and provides direct feedback to encourage appropriate work behaviors
  • Demonstrated desire and capacity for continuous learning of new work methods and technology
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team.
  • Operation of packaging machinery and production equipment.
  • Ability to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment according to manufacturing specifications.
  • Monitoring output quality against control standards.
  • Identifying and managing defective products.
  • Accurately maintaining daily production records for performance analysis.
  • Effectively working within a team environment, facilitating cooperation, and skill sharing.  
  • Possessing good verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction and documentation.
  • Demonstrating problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities. 
  • Knowing when to seek additional support for issue resolution.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedules (including shifts and overtime) according to business needs.
  • Demonstrating a desire for continuous improvement and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean working environment and ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.

The hourly pay range for this role is $21.10Will. This range reflects the good‑faith minimum and maximum hourly rate the Company reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of posting.  This role is classified as non‑exempt, and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees in this position may be eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, or other forms of compensation, depending on role and location. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, training, certifications, and work location. This job posting is intended to comply with all applicable state and local pay transparency laws.
