About this Position

As QC Manager, you will lead the local Quality Control team and ensure a strong quality framework across the plant. You will play a key role in driving quality performance, supporting production, maintaining compliance, and strengthening continuous improvement practices at site level. 

What you´ll do

  • Lead customer complaint and off-spec investigations, coordinating with relevant departments and functions to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems and procedures to ensure the highest level of product quality.
  • Manage and mentor a team of quality control inspectors and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Update and maintain relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with quality standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
  • Implement data validation checks and preventive measures to reduce errors and discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports and analyses on data quality and trends, as required.
  • Maintain and manage laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration, maintenance, and compliance with MSA requirements.
  • Implement and sustain 5S standards in the laboratory to improve efficiency and organization.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for laboratory staff.
  • Monitor laboratory resources and allocate them effectively to meet KPIs.
  • Review and analyze existing test methods and procedures to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Lead and participate in process and product audits.

What makes you a good fit

  • University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Extensive experience in quality leadership within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Integrated Management Systems (ISO) and continuous improvement
  • Experience on non-conformance, customer complaint, and supplier quality systems
  • Root cause analysis and structured problem solving (FRPS, A3, 8D) experience
  • Experience with Statistical methods (SQC) and quality core tools (FMEA, Control Plans)
  • Experience with Management of Change
  • Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt) preferred
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive measurable business results
