About this Position

  • Lead and execute multiple innovation programs/projects through Henkel's stage-gate process with cross-functional teams in APAC to deliver significant revenue/profit contribution to SBU goals.
  • Define & manage project milestones to ensure alignment with global and regional SBU plans and Inno Strategy - financial business plans, technical roadmaps, customer roadmaps, positioning, risk analysis incl. mitigation plan.
  • Support translation of ideas into innovation projects in line with global guidance and process.

What you´ll do

  • Manage entire portfolio of innovation and product development projects in APAC region.
  • Manage, lead and motivate cross-functional project team - build high performing project teams.
  • Ensure full alignment in the regional innovation leadership team and key stakeholders (sales, product development, application engineers, operations, purchasing, etc.) on business priorities, targets, business case, timelines, risk management.
  • Ensure delivery of projects on time and provide proactive, regular, and appropriate communication on status of projects.
  • Identify project risks and define countermeasures. Escalate any delays immediately.
  • Take lead in case of problems and conflicts during project management.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the innovation process and drive initiatives to increase speed to market.
  • Closely collaboration with the global Innovation Project Manager team to foster best practice exchange and continuous improvement.

What makes you a good fit

  • University degree in Management / Engineering / Science / Chemistry preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
  • Experience in project management in product launch for relevant industries/technologies is an advantage.
  • Excellent English communication skills in English.
  • Advanced leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong positive “can-do” mind set and team spirit.
  • Entrepreneurial, persistent and result-oriented mind-set.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint), with a strong willingness to learn and work with additional software.
