YOUR ROLE
- Give in-depth, hands on customer support to select products, solve technical problems, improve process efficiency and overall quality, based on substantial field experience
- Carry out and/or manage internal or external on-part application evaluations
- Support resolution of quality problems, understand customer production processes and be effective in auditing and surveying customer plant applications of Henkel products
- Accountable for finding root cause of customer issues and their successful resolution
- Work together effectively and efficiently with Product Development (PD) by evaluating the performance of new products in the lab, developing new product application parameters, supporting customer trial or beta site development, and assisting in determining the criteria for new products prior to development
- Assist PD by developing test procedures for the characterization of new products, as to ensure adequate (reproducible, repeatable, robust) and relevant (for customers’ use) quality control measures
- Ensure proper Application Technology research by acquiring new insights in printing technologies
- Communicate and work globally with other parts of Henkel to ensure that latest and best information is available in support of customers
- Support key events (exhibitions, conferences, and seminars) by preparation of demonstrators and own participation
- Ensure all work is done in line with ISO standards
